We think of elm as a quintessentially English timber, but it is the most common furniture making wood found throughout northern China in it’s darker Northern Elm variety. For this reclaimed elm wood furniture however, we use a contemporary lighter elm, which fits in perfectly with many modern interiors, and which wouldn’t look out of place in any present day home.
