Its distressed blue finish is layered with warm ochre, traces of red and exposed timber, highlighting the texture of the wood. A pale rectangular painting decorates the centre of the front, showing red, pink and yellow flowers amongst green foliage, with two small butterflies hovering above. Areas of wear reveal the wood beneath, adding character to the painted scene.

The original fixed front panel has been adapted into a single broad door, preserving the floral painting while providing easy access to the cupboard space. A small metal drop handle sits at the right-hand edge, and inside a single removable shelf divides the interior for useful storage. Thick outer frames, moulded borders and panelled sides give the cabinet a sturdy appearance, with a broad lower rail and straight legs completing the design.

A lovely addition to a hallway, living room or dining room, the cabinet offers practical storage for tableware, glassware or other household items. Its muted blue green tones and brighter floral details would bring warmth and interest to a neutral colour scheme, working equally well in a traditional or more modern interior.
