Darker markings and glimpses of warm timber show through across the surface and along the moulded edges, while the finish’s sheen highlights the cabinet’s simple, balanced lines.

Two drawers sit above a pair of panelled cupboard doors, each fitted with a small metal drop handle. Shaped wooden fittings at the outer corners receive dowels on the doors to form traditional wooden hinges, adding a subtle decorative detail to the front. The doors open to reveal a single removable shelf running across the interior, providing useful storage for crockery, glasses or other household items. A framed top, panelled sides and straight legs complete the design.

A lovely choice for a hallway, living room or dining room, the cabinet combines practical storage with an understated antique character. Its muted colour would work beautifully with natural wood and neutral fabrics, with space on top for a lamp and a few favourite objects.
