The finish is distressed to reveal darker markings and warm wood along the edges, complementing the grain and texture of the old timber. Its soft sheen brings out the moulded details across the front, while the understated colour gives the traditional design a fresh appeal.

Two drawers sit above a pair of cupboard doors, all fitted with newly added, small metal drop handles. Moulded frames surround the recessed panels, while the carved semi-circular fittings at the upper and lower corners receive wooden dowels on the doors, forming traditional wooden hinges. These practical details also add a decorative touch to the otherwise simple frontage. A framed top, plain panelled sides and straight legs complete the cabinet’s balanced proportions.

Offering drawer space for smaller items and cupboard storage below, this would make a lovely addition to a living room, hallway or dining room. The top provides space for a lamp, photographs or favourite ornaments, while the subtle grey-green finish would sit easily alongside natural wood and neutral fabrics.
