Chests with many drawers were used by Chinese herbalists and apothecaries to store herbs and medicines. This smaller modern version, based on our larger Hundred Eye Chest, is great today for tidying away modern day lotions and potions in the bathroom. The six drawers are also perfectly sized to hold up to 150 CDs, or use one in the bedroom for socks and tights. It’s also a good height for use as a side table and while simple in style has the same distinctive Chinese flavour as the other pieces in the range.
