These pretty little cabinets show the Chinese style typical of painted furniture from Shanxi in the north of China. The black or red lacquer surface is hand painted with flowers and dancing butterflies - a symbol of longevity. With plenty of space inside and one drawer at the top these make beautiful and unusual bedside cabinets. Please note that the designs of these cabinets can vary slightly from the example shown as they are hand painted.
