A smaller version of our Shanxi painted cabinet, displaying a traditional decoration of Chinese family antiques painted onto a black lacquer surface. The doors are mounted on wooden hinges, which fit into sockets carved into the frame of the cabinet. This creates a beautifully simple form that shows off the painted decoration to maximum effect. Put two together for a pair of unusual bedside cabinets. Made of reclaimed elm, with one interior shelf. Please note that as these cabinets are hand-painted, there will be slight variations to the design shown.
