This cute little chair is a smaller version of our Chinese Yoke-Back Armchair, ideally sized for the little ones in your life. The original was made for our 18 month old and she loves it, especially at story time. The footrest comes in useful for shorter legs, although the chair would still be suitable for the average five-year-old. The carved relief on the backrest is of a butterfly – a common symbol seen in Chinese furniture to represent happiness and joy.
