This little side table is a smaller version of our Carved Console Table, having the same carved shelf at the bottom and a rattan inlay on the top. The horse hoof feet and circular drawer handle give an unmistakeable oriental feel, and in fact the style is not dissimilar to Chinese tea tables that have been used for centuries. Two will work wonderfully as bedside tables – particularly next to our Chinese Ming Carved Bed as the detail on the carved headboard is replicated on the table’s shelf. Also great next to a sofa or as a hall table.
