Water Bucket

Southern China, circa 1900
Originally used for carrying water, these wooden buckets come from southern China. Today they make great baskets next to a fireplace to hold kindling wood, or use them as decorative pieces to hold dried flowers. Each one differs slightly in size and colour, but all have wooden handles with decorative metalwork.
