Two Panel Lacquered Screen

This eye-catching screen has been made from two old panels that would have been fixed as internal dividers in Chinese home. The upper section includes a simple rectangular pattern set within the black lacquer frame, while the lower part is in red and cream lacquer. The lacquer finish has been recently applied, but so as to give the appearance of age.
