Most of the Shimu furniture range is available in a choice of finishes – either warm elm, showing off the natural beauty of the wood; or black lacquer for a more dramatic, imposing look. However, we can provide alternative finishes if required, such as a lighter, natural finish or even other coloured lacquer. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Bespoke Furniture
As well as the range of furniture shown in our online catalogue, we also provide a bespoke service for individual items. If there is a particular piece of furniture that you cannot find on our Web site, or if you have a particular design that you would like us to produce, please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with a quote.

Antique Sourcing
In addition to the wide range of antique Chinese furniture that we stock , we are also able to source individual antique pieces through our supplier network in China. If there is a particular piece of antique furniture that you are looking for but can’t find in our current selection we will be happy to help. We can often provide several options for you to choose from and, because we can ship your antique together with our own stock items, you save on shipping costs.
