Our range of classical Chinese furniture is handmade by craftsmen in Shanghai using skills and techniques that have been passed down through generations. Most pieces in the collection are reproductions of classic designs from China’s Ming dynasty, while others are inspired by the same period but are more contemporary in design. We use only reclaimed Chinese elm wood for our furniture – a material used by the Chinese for furniture making over centuries due to its beautiful wave-like grain.

The collection includes a stunning range of Chinese cabinets, including painted cabinets from the Shanxi region and more understated pieces finished in natural and black lacquer. Coffee tables and display tables add simple oriental style into any reception room, while our blanket boxes and apothecary chests offer sleek, elegant storage for modern day living with more than a hint of oriental style.
