Great at the end of a bed or as a coffee table, this lovely trunk is mounted on small horse hoof shaped feet, in common with many of the blanket chests used throughout China for centuries for storing clothes and bedding. Rather than modern metal hinges, our chest also uses a traditional half board lid to access the interior, with the front part lifting completely out.
