Two Panel Screen

Shanxi, circa 1900
The panels of these screens were once used as dividers inside a home in Shanxi province but have been fitted together to form a simple screen. Made from elm wood, they have been refinished in red lacaquer, with the lattice work in the upper panel in contrasting black. We currently have two of these screens available.
